Elmira High School senior Jordan Burgesss has a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that was chosen as March’s car of the month.

Burgess bought his Jeep in December 2022 for $9,500. After purchasing the Jeep, he has made various modifications.

Burgess has added a Flowmaster Super 40 Muffler, American flag vinyl stickers to the rear window and he has made a few engine upgrades including a thermostat and a water pump.

The Jeep has another name “old faithful” named after a Wyoming geyser due to an overheating problem which shot boiling hot coolant into the air similar to the Yellowstone geyser.

Other modifications he made to the Jeep was a 3 inch lift kit with 32 inch Cooper STT Pro tires. It is equipped with a CB radio including an outdoor PA system, roof rack, two 12 inch Subwoofers and an audio system and a light bar.
