The Elmira High School staff brought home a trophy — and bragging rights — after scoring higher than all other schools in the Fern Ridge School District’s back-to-school trivia challenge during in-service week.
Each school staff was divided into teams, and the average of each school’s scores were tallied to determine the winner.
The trivia questions covered four categories: FRSD facts, language arts, math and science, and history.
It marked the third year of a districtwide competition during in-service week. EHS won the first competition — a scavenger hunt — and Fern Ridge Middle School won last year’s competition, which included a series of minute-to-win-it games.
