EHS Students Get Set for AP Testing

AP testing will start Monday at Elmira High School.

Students will start the week with AP Chemistry. AP English Literature and Composition will be held on Wednesday and AP U.S. History on Friday. AP Spanish Language & Culture will test the following week on May 16.

AP tests will be held at EHS in Room 36 near the Options department.

Tests begin at 9 a.m. for each test except for AP Chemistry, which will start at 12 p.m. Students are expected to be there 15 minutes before testing begins.

All tests will take about three and a half hours with AP English Literature and Composition being the shortest.

Students should take two No. 2 pencils and two black or blue ink pens. No electronics are allowed in the exam room, except for a watch without sound and Bluetooth connection. Up to 2 calculators are allowed on specific tests.

Some classes have begun prepping for the final exam. AP U.S. History spent a full week completing a mock test to become more familiar with the testing format.
