The Falcons came out with a win 34-15, putting their league record at 5-1.

Senior Quinton Buckland finished the game with 338 total yards, two passing touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown. Sophomore Kyron Smith had 93 total yards with one receiving touchdown and one rushing touchdown.

The upcoming game this week is significant for the Falcons because it determines whether the team will get a home playoff game or have to travel far for their first playoff game.

“The players and coaches have been working so hard during the season to make this happen,” Peeler said. “We hope to make Elmira High and the surrounded community proud and see how far we can make it this season.”

Buckland is very proud and excited to see how far the Falcons can make it in the playoffs.

“It feels great to be making playoffs my senior year,” the EHS quarterback told Falcon News. “It’s cool to be apart of the team that makes the playoffs after a ten year drought.”

The Falcons have their next game at Valley Catholic on Friday at 7 p.m.
