Elmira Boys Soccer Team Suffers One-Point Loss to Pacific/Bandon

The Elmira High School boys soccer team suffered a tough loss to Pacific/Bandon on Thursday, falling 5-4.

Scoring goals for the Falcons were senior Austyn Woolcott, with three, and sophomore Marvin Hambrick. Junior Owen Booth had three assists.

“It was a tough loss on the road with a long trip to Pacific/Bandon,” head coach Karson Laing said. “Our boys didn’t show up wanting to win the battle more than Pacific. Pacific wanted to win more. Now we put this game behind us and use it as fuel and motivation going forward into JC next week.”

The Falcons are scheduled to play on the road at Junction City at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
