EHS Bids Farewell to Class of 2023

Elmira High School celebrated its Class of 2023 with a graduation ceremony in the Main Gym on June 9.

Principal Rick Gardner welcomed the graduates as well their families, friends, EHS staff and other attendees. English teacher Michelle Nelson was selected as the staff speaker.

Valedictorian Lucy Mitchem and salutatorian Kyle Johnson also spoke.

Seniors Karis Price and Gracie Storey performed during the ceremony, and a slideshow of baby photos and seniors photos for all of the graduates was shown.

The ceremony ended with each senior taking their turn to cross the stage and accept their diploma.
