Have you been wondering what’s with the mannequin in the foyer?

It’s a display to showcase that the Applegate Regional Theatre is hosting a formal wear open house. This will be held on Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday, April 16 from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

All EHS students are welcome to attend. There will be a huge selection of dresses, gowns, tuxedos, and suits available for loan with a deposit. Students will have the opportunity to browse various styles and sizes to find the perfect fit for prom or any other formal event.

In addition to the clothing selections, students will be able to create their own silk floral boutonniere or corsage. This hands-on activity will allow students to add their own touch of style to their outfit.

The event will take place at 87230 Central Rd. You can contact the theatre at (541) 935-3636.

Since its addition to the front lobby, the mannequin has been vandalized a couple times. Limbs and clothing have been removed by students.

The whole mannequin itself was also knocked over and fell apart on the ground Tuesday.

As of now, the mannequin’s arm is missing.
