Elections Bring Wave of Newcomers to Student Council

As all the election results are in, many new faces are expected to be seen in the Student Council next year.

For the Class of 2025, JT Myers has won his uncontested election for class president, with Maya Puff and Ananda Puff to be the vice president and secretary, as well as Mele Turtura as treasurer.

In the elections for the Class of 2024, June Highburger won out in the contested race for class president, beating incumbent president Gavin Snell and newcomer Maritza Espinoza.

Trevor Wanaisie and Alicia Murdock won their uncontested races for vice president and secretary. The position of treasurer has been left unfilled.

In the contested race for the incoming seniors, Nio Turtura won out over Cody Eutsler, Gracie Storey, and Michael Brown for the position of class president.

For the position of vice-president, Jacob Janeczko won out over Ashlyn Turnbo and Nikita Rose ran unopposed for the position of secretary. The position of treasurer has been left unfilled.
