The Elmira High School boys and girls basketball teams honored their seniors before Friday’s varsity matchups against Marist.
One by one, the seniors gathered on the court with their families and friends.
The senior boys honored were Desmond Wilson, Will Storey, Devon Schueller, Anton Zaporozets and Troy Anderson.
The senior girls honored were Quinn Metzger, Riley Peeler and team manager Mackenzie Wisner.
Only the JV boys team beat the Spartans, 61-46. The varsity boys lost 79-46, the varsity girls fell 52-18, the JV girls score was 33-22 and the JV2 boys team lost 58-28.
