“Inuyasha” is a half demon from the feudal era. Kagome is a high school girl from the modern era.
Kagome fell inside her old well. In her shrine there is a jewel that can turn a half demon into either a full demon or into a human, but the keeper of the shikon jewel died and she wanted to burn with the jewel so that nobody could use it for evil. The keeper of the jewel was Inuyasha’s old love, Kikyo.
She was reincarnated as Kagome. When Kagome fell through the well, a demon serpent went after Kagome. Inuyasha was sealed to a tree by Kikyo for 50 years before she died.
After Kagome unleashed Inuyasha, a demon attacked again. She shot at a bird, but also hit the jewel, so it shattered into a million pieces around the world.
Kaede, Kikyo’s younger sister, said they have to work together to find the jewel before it gets into the wrong hands.
