There was a huge crowd in the stands to cheer for the home team. The student section was full of students dressed in purple and gold.

The Falcons held a tight defensive line throughout the game. After the first half, the score was 0-10, with Santiam leading, but not by much. Elmira had some great rushes down the field, edging them closer to scoring.

Coach Justin Peeler said his team played hard and did well on finishing their drives.

Ian Drago scored a touchdown toward the end of the fourth quarter, and Beau Koffler made a two-point conversion, raising the Falcons’ score to eight points.

”Our defense was solid, but the offense not so good,” Falcon player Tanner Hunt, #44, said.

Player Jaron Cadogan added, ”We played a decent game. Obviously, there were a bunch of little mistakes, but overall our play was good.”

Elmira is scheduled to play North Eugene at North Eugene this Friday at 7 p.m.
