The City of Veneta opened a brand new dog park called “Bark and Whistle” after lots of work and anticipation.
The park had an opening ceremony on May 10, and held an inaugural Dog Parade which they intend to hold yearly.
The Many Miles Rescue hosted an adoption event at the opening ceremony, and many local pet salons made appearances as well.
Those that attended the event also had the opportunity to vote on adding a gazebo, jumping hoops or a walking A-frame to the park.
The park is located at 15031 Brooker Lane, between Dari Mart and the train tracks.
