Teachers arrived Thursday morning to a courtyard filled with inflatable pools, beach balls, pool noodles, balloons, and floaties.

Some teachers found nice notes on their doors only to reach for their door handles and find Vaseline all over the them.

Every year the graduating class does their own version of a senior prank. This year, the class of 2025 decided on a pool themed prank in the courtyard.

Seniors felt as though they weren’t crossing any boundaries as graduating classes have in previous years.

“It was harmless and funny,” senior Katie Kilcullen said. “We didn’t damage any school property and it made for a great senior prank.”

Despite the Vaseline on some of the door handles, the teachers also felt that it was a great prank.

“It was a great prank because they kept it simple,” English teacher Emmy Erwin said. “The continued spirit day was very cool as well, having their own senior day to match the prank. It seems like it really helped bring all of them together.”
