“Find Your Voice” in Teen Community Art Show

The Fern Ridge Library is holding a teen art show as part of the summer reading program.

“Creating art should be fun and make you happy,” says the flyer.

This event is for ages 13-19.

There are some rules for this art show, which are:

  1. You may create your art in any medium you would like.
  2. The theme is “Find Your Voice”, which can be interpreted in any way you would like.
  3. The art MUST be appropriate for all ages, which means: nudity, obscenity, alcohol and drugs, politics, or religion cannot be included.
  4. The art must be submitted on paper between the sizes of 5×7 and 9×12.
  5. You will submit your art to the circulation desk and it must be turned in by July 3 to be included. You should also include your information on the back so it can be picked up by August 4 and 5.

The teen art will be displayed through July, with the adult art show following in August.

There will also be an art show for the kids (ages 5-12) that will be displayed through June.
