Last Tuesday was an exciting night for the Falcons as they celebrated each of the seniors that will be graduating soon. It was an emotional and proud moment for their families and friends.

On that night, Elmira honored seniors Enrico Cervantez, Will Walton, Wayde Walton, Seth Drago, Katarina Jentzsch, Noah Sawyer, and Luke Wolgamott.

The Falcons wrestled hard against Pleasant Hill and came up with the win. The final score was 48-19.

Many in attendance were curious as to why senior Will Walton didn’t wrestle. Falcon News interviewed Walton and he had this to say: “Listen, it’s a long and interesting story but I’ll keep it short and simple for you. Basically, I had cereal the night before, and the milk tasted kind of funny, but I still downed that whole bowl. So a lot of things happened that night.”

Falcon News also did a brief interview with senior Wayde Walton.

Question: How do you think you performed on senior night?

Answer: “I think I did pretty good. I pinned the guy in the first round.”

Q: How do you think the team did?

A: “We did really well. We won by a lot.”
