About every two seconds, someone in the United States need blood to save their life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help with the effort, the Elmira High School National Honor Society is hosting a Red Cross blood drive in the Auxiliary Gym from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donors have to be age 16 or older. At this time, all appointments are full \u2014 about 48 total, according to NHS advisor Michelle Nelson.
