Kiwanis Is Serving a Thanksgiving Feast"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kiwanis of Fern Ridge is hosting a Thanksgiving feast at Mid Lane Cares from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mid Lane Cares is located at 25035 W. Broadway Ave. in Veneta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cKiwanis\u2019 community Thanksgiving makes sure that everyone has an opportunity to enjoy a good meal on this holiday,\u201d according to venetaworks.org.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Kiwanis will also be holding a Holiday Food Basket Giveaway at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This event will be held at 9 a.m. Dec. 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The church is located at 88068 Huston Road in Veneta.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2021, the Kiwanis did a drive-in Thanksgiving feast the day before Thanksgiving. In 2014, 2016 and 2019, Kiwanis and Food Lane Cares hosted a free Thanksgiving dinner at Veneta Elementary.
