(Photo by Arina Rose \/ EHS student)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Elmira varsity volleyball team went home with a loss to the La Pine Hawks last Friday, despite a save off the basketball hoop by senior Gracie Storey.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first set ended in 25-17, the second in 25-15 and the final set  in 25-13. All three sets went to the Hawks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Falcons&#8217; leaders in stats for the night were sophomore Jayden Breaux, an outside hitter who had nine kills, and junior Lillian Ossowski, a setter who led in both digs with 5 and 8 assists. Storey, a middle blocker, led in blocks, along with sophomore Josey Robbins, another setter. Both players had two blocks. Robbins also had the only ace for the Falcons against the Hawks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JV team had their game cut short in the start of their second set to allow the varsity game to start on time. The first set ended 25-22 with the Hawks taking the win. The second set ended 5-8, with the Falcons finishing on top. The teams hope to get a rematch and see who the official winner would be.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Elmira JV2 volleyball team had their first game and first win against the Hawks.
