They also got to see the makeup room and costume workshop.

At around noon, the students went for lunch in downtown Ashland.

At 1:30, the play began. Differing from the original plan to see “Once On This Island ”, due to this performance being canceled, the group ended up watching a distinct play titled “Unseen”. This play still took place at the same time that the other was supposed to.

“Unseen” is a drama that follows a conflict photographer after she wakes up at the scene of a massacre in Syria. Not remembering how she got there, the photographer struggles to piece together her past and is resistant to help from her Turkish ex-girlfriend or Californian mother. Overtime, the character begins to accept help and starts to remember how she got there.

This play has recently become more popular due the conflicts that have recently been occurring in Ukraine.

By 4 p.m., the group left Ashland and headed on a long drive back home. They stopped for Costco pizza and other food in Roseburg around 6 p.m. to fill up before finishing the drive back to Elmira.

The group finally arrived back in Elmira at about 8:15 p.m., after a full day of fun.

“It was a very long day, but it was fun,” said Nelson.

[9

0":"post-4190","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-news","8":"czr-hentry
["GET
