Elmira High School celebrated the start of Prom Spirit Week with “Medusa’s Curse” on Monday, where students showed up to school in different shades of gray or other dull colors to look like they were turned to stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, students are expected to dress in floral and spring colors to fit the theme “Persephone’s Gift.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going forward, “Midas’s Touch” will be on Wednesday, where students can dress up in everything gold and yellow, and “Astraios’s Starry Sky” will be Thursday for students to dress in everything star and night related.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spirit week will wrap up with “Party at the Parthenon” on Friday. Students are encouraged to dress in white and green, or dress up as their favorite Greek myth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
