The senior versus junior Powder Puff flag football game was hosted at Elmira High School on Nov. 15. The seniors shut out the juniors with a final score of 12-0.<\/p>\n\n\n

Senior Josey Robbins scored both touchdowns, with one being a receiving touchdown from quarterback Layla Burgess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Powder Puff game was held to raise money for senior grad night. To further help raise funds, the senior cheerleaders ran a “dash for cash” around the crowd. Zane Clemmer gathered $350, the most among all cheerleaders, earning him recognition and a prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, the night raised $3,533.78, surpassing their $3,000 goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Junior quarterback Lily Admire appreciated the opportunity to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was a really competitive game and super fun to be a part of,\u201d Admire told Falcon News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burgess addressed the trash talk from the juniors leading up to the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe juniors had a lot to say before the game. I didn’t have any doubt, but I’m glad the seniors shut them up,” the quarterback said, “and shut them out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
