(Photo by EHS parent Michelle Ossowski)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Elmira Falcons girls soccer team played their last home game on Wednesday against the Junction City Eagles, with the Falcons suffering a tough 0-1 loss but also celebrating the team&#8217;s senior night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seniors Mackenzie Wisner, Claire Head and Riley Peeler were recognized as they were escorted by family and friends onto the field and given gifts from the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each senior also gave a speech about what they hope to accomplish after high school, who they wanted to thank for their support, and advice for the underclassmen. It was a sad but exciting game for the girls \u2014 their last home game with the team.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Falcons played tough but lost&nbsp;0-1. Junction City matched the energy of the Falcons and barely edged Elmira out of a senior night victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elmira players Ailea Hogue and Iris Frome said about the game: &#8220;We all played our hardest and really represented our seniors.
