With the end of the year rapidly approaching, Falcon News went out to interview Elmira High School seniors and ask them to reflect on their favorite memories from the last four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019d have to say my favorite high school memory was beating the seniors in Powder Puff my junior year because the seniors were saying they were gonna beat us all month until we got on the field and destroyed them. \u2014 Katie Geiger<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My favorite high school memory was hanging out with friends at the football games. My favorite moment was the Homecoming game and my best friend got elected for Homecoming queen. \u2014 Lilly Frank<\/p>\n<\/div>

My favorite memory was winning seven straight games our senior season and going to the playoffs for the first time in 11 years. My favorite game was beating Siuslaw after losing to them when they were the best team in our league the year before. I remember our team was excited because we knew we were going to playoffs. \u2014 Donovan Hartley<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My favorite high school memory was playing sports. My favorite moment was when my football team beat Siuslaw 67-46. \u2014 Brett Highburger<\/p>\n<\/div>

My favorite high school memory was the football game against Siuslaw. Everyone got to dress all out in pink in support of breast cancer and my boyfriend asked me to Homecoming. It was an exciting and fun night. To me, the game was the epitome of high school football. I am glad I was able to be a part of the pink cheering Falcons. \u2014 Maritza Espinoza<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My favorite high school memory was when I played soccer and got the opportunity to play with a great group of girls, and had the chance to make many new friends and meet new people. The times on the away games will forever be my favorite memories. \u2014 Hailey Canham<\/p>\n<\/div>

I think my favorite memory from high school was moving back from Texas in my junior year to my peers at Elmira welcoming me back as if not a day had passed. Moving states in 2021 as a freshman when everybody was so disconnected due to COVID was pretty hard. Coming back and being welcomed back in with open arms was really heartwarming. I still remember the looks I got when I walked into my first class back here in Oregon. It gave me new appreciation for the community I grew up in and I will never forget that. \u2014 Evan LaBlue<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My favorite high school memory was meeting and becoming friends with the foreign exchange students. They taught me a lot about different cultures while I taught them about America. I also made a lot of new friends and rekindled some old friendships. \u2014 Jade Jones<\/p>\n<\/div>

My favorite high school moment was in my sophomore year. I was in Johnson’s Intro\/Advanced Auto class, and he was giving us a lecture \u2014 I forgot about what though \u2014 when James Evans and Pastin Beck started laughing about something Johnson said. Then, Johnson turned around and looked at them and they started laughing more. Then, Koby Warren and Ruben Fox started laughing. Then, soon, all 25 of us started laughing. We laughed till we couldn\u2019t breathe. Then, Johnson\u2019s face was really red because we got him so bad with laughter that he had to get on his knees and turned away from us and covered his face with his hands. After a few moments he got back up and we went back to the lecture. Most of my favorite moments come from Mr. Johnson\u2019s classes. \u2014 Shyanne Foust<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My favorite high school memory was the football game this year against the Siuslaw Vikings. It was awesome to see the school spirit feel vibrant again and have that Friday Night Lights crowd cheering the Falcons on. \u2014 June Highburger<\/p>\n<\/div>
