There will be first, second and third place winners along with honorable mentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m really surprised I won, I thought my story could be better in a lot of places, but I&#8217;m excited for it to be published in a book locally,&#8221; Myers shares about his own story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The top five finalists are listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGold Dust Books\u201d by L. Stepp, Creswell High School<br>\u201cOrbit\u201d by JT Myers, Elmira High School<br>\u201cThe Rose Theater\u201d by Ishika Chakraborty, South Eugene High School<br>\u201cTo the Ends of the Earth\u201d by Brianna R. Bird, Springfield High School<br>\u201cWhispers in the Woods\u201d by Lauren Ellison, Marist High School<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first place winner gets $100, second place gets $50 and third place gets $25.
