Falcon News interviewed a group of seniors about their plans after graduation. The Class of 2024 shares their ideas for traveling, college and careers in business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Question: What are your plans for after graduation? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Answer: \u201cI want to take off a couple years to focus on work, so I can save money for college at LCC.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What career are you interested in? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI want to get a teaching degree in English language and literature.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What sparked your interest in teaching? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI’ve always been really good at spelling and grammar, and I would love the opportunity to teach others.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: <\/strong>What are you expecting college life to be like? <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI think it will be tough for the first two years being away from home, but I think it will be OK.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What are you looking forward to most after graduation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to being on my own and experiencing life outside of this small town.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mariana Stoqui<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Stoqui is a foreign exchange student from Brazil. She is considered a junior at EHS but will actually go on to a university after this year because she has already finished school in her home country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What are your plans after graduation? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cMy plan is to live and study in Italy, at the University of Bologna.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: <\/strong>What do you want to major in? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A : \u201cMy plan is to major in economics and business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What is your dream job?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cTo be a housewife and not work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What are you expecting college life to be like?  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI expect to have more enjoyment because I will be studying what I’m interested in. I will be living by myself in a new country so it will be challenging, but I’m sure I will experience a lot of new things that will make the challenge worth it.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to enjoying my last months in my home country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cMy plans are to go to college to study biology or animal sciences to become a veterinarian.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What sparked your interest in becoming a veterinarian? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI’ve lived on a farm for my whole life and been surrounded by animals so I knew that I wanted to be able to continue that lifestyle when I grew up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What do you expect life in college to be like?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI think that it\u2019ll be challenging, but also full of potential and new opportunities which I’m excited for.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What college will you be attending?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI’ve applied to a few and won\u2019t hear back until April, but I want to go to the University of Washington.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What are you most excited to achieve during your college experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI want to experience new things that are different from the small town I’ve grown up in, so I’m excited for that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI plan to go to Grand Canyon university in Arizona to study forensic psychology.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What sparked your interest in forensic psychology?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI really like learning about how different people think and especially when it comes to serial killers or criminals. It\u2019s very interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What do you expect life in college to be like?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI expect college to be a big adjustment, but a place for me to really grow as my own person and obviously to have lots of fun and make memories.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What are you most excited to achieve during your college experience? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI\u2019m most excited to meet new people and learn more about my major.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: How do you feel about moving to a different state?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI\u2019m super excited to move and live on my own. I\u2019ll definitely miss my friends and family, but I\u2019m ready to have my own experience.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI really want to play golf as much as I can, and I plan on working at the International Paper company.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cMy dad works there, and I would really like to be a pipefitter for them.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What are you looking forward to most after graduation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cJust getting to spend the last bit of time I have left with my friends before they leave for college.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What is your dream job, and why? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cTo play professional golf. Golf is my favorite sport and getting to make a living off of doing what I love would be amazing.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: What college will you be attending at?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI would only go to college if I got a scholarship for golf. The college I like most is the University of Oregon because I really like their golf program.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cAfter graduation I plan on going to college somewhere in Oregon, but I\u2019m still deciding if I want to go to a four year or to a community college to play volleyball. I also hope to study abroad at whatever college I plan to attend.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cVeterinary medicine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI\u2019ve always had a love for animals growing up. I also enjoy helping others a lot. So a career where I can combine the two is amazing to me.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: \u201cI expect it to be a whole new life with new people, lots of room for experience, many opportunities, and valuable education.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
