January’s Song of the Month is “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen, submitted by EHS ninth-grader Piper Gagner.
Gagner said she likes the song because it reminds her of good memories with her 10-year-old brother. He showed her the song and started singing. Gagner said being with her little brother are the most special times ever.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” is a unique name, depicting the life of a “bohemian,” whose original meaning is “artist,” while “rhapsody” is a fantasy.
Queen created the song that changed the very concept of what a rock-‘n’-roll band could do.
